Bio
With 15 years as assistant to trainer Neil Howard, Kevin had the privilege of working with some of Lanes End Farms best horses, like Mineshaft (G1,'03 horse of the Year), Secret Status (G1,'00 Kentucky Oaks) and many more graded stakes winners like RunUp The Colors(G1), Tomisue's Delight(G1), Lil's Lad(G2), America Alive(G1) and more...in 12 years with Shadwell Farms, Kevin developed young stars like Malathaat (multiple G1, 2021 Kentucky Oaks winner), Mohaymen (multiple G2 winner, 4th in '15 Kentucky Derby), Shagaf(G3), Haikal(G3), Zaajel (G2 Mother Goose winner), Mutasaabeq(G2) and rehabbed turf stars like Almanaar (G1), and Qurbaan (2 x winner of the G2 Bernard Baruch). The Camden Training Center in Camden SC, is one of the most storied facilities in racing history. Home to many great horsemen, some of the finest racehorses spent their kindergarten days at this beautiful facility. Frank Whiteley made Camden his home, and developed the likes of such greats as Damascus, Ruffian, Forego, and later on broke babies for the Phipps family (Heavenly Prize, Inside Information, Coronado's Quest). John Veitch, Leroy Jolley, Neil Howard are among the many who wintered in South Carolina. Come be a part of this rich tradition.
